Mishimoto's Air to Water Intercooler upgrade is available for ’11-present 6.7L Power Stroke trucks. The intercooler boasts precision TIG-welded cast-aluminum end tanks, a bar and plate core, flows 22-percent more air than OEM. It's possible to add 40 lb-ft of torque to your truck! Mishimoto’s intercooler is offered in conjunction with cold-side intercooler piping and hardware or as a comprehensive kit with both cold-side and hot-side piping upgrades.
Air-to-water intercooler setups aren’t exclusive to sport or muscle cars, most don't
realize they are also found on 2011+ Ford’s Super Duty trucks. The 6.7L Power Stroke
air-to-water unit does require a second radiator to dissipate charged air heat, but that is
much less of an obstruction than a large air-to-air intercooler. This system also lends
itself to better performance while under heavy load, like towing large payloads uphill, for
instance.
At 600 CFM, our best core showed a 22% lower pressure drop than the stock cooler.
Put simply, our core flows 22% better than the stock cooler. That extra flow will let your
6.7L Powerstroke pull in more air, inject more fuel, and make more power. With flow
bench testing complete, we’ll soon have a production sample to fit in the truck and soon
after that a pre-sale so that you can have one in yours too.
Since conventional worm gear style clamps aren't used on higher boost applications,
constant tension, spring-loaded T-bolt clamps are used in the kit.
The higher end T bolt clamps, along with ribbed and beaded intercooler piping end and
heavy-duty boots, there's no concerns with pipes slipping off.

The 2011–2016
Ford Super Duty equipped with the 6.7L Powerstroke is one of the most
capable and reliable trucks on the road today. But, when Mishimoto heard
about 6.7L Powerstroke air-to-water intercoolers leaking internally, we
set to work making the 6.7L Powerstroke even better.
The Mishimoto 6.7L Powerstroke intercooler brings even more reliability
to the 6.7L by ditching the stamped and stacked plate stock design.
Instead, our intercooler is built with cast aluminum end tanks that are
precision TIG-welded to the robust bar-and-plate core. The cast
end-tanks reduce potential failure points, making them more reliable
than cut and welded tanks.
Aside from being more durable than stock, the Mishimoto 6.7L Powerstroke
intercooler also flows better. Flow bench testing showed that the
Mishimoto intercooler flowed 22% better than the stock cooler. On the
dyno, that extra flow allowed our stock 6.7L Powerstroke to make 40
lb-ft more torque.
This cooler is available with a powder-coated sleek silver, stealthy
micro-wrinkle black, or micro-wrinkle blue finish to match any style.
