36TECH™ is a new handlebar standard developed by Renthal to push the boundaries of handlebar technology. Using a 36mm clamping diameter, the bar mounts are designed to be used in conjuction with Fatbar®36 handlebars to create the ultimate rider control.

The Renthal Apex combines All Mountain Strength, Enduro stiffness and XC lightweight. The unique 240 degree clamp allows much of the stem body material to be removed while retaining the strength and stiffness demanded by modern, wide handlebars.

The Apex stem is fully CNC machined from solid billet. The unique handlebar clamping system opens up the front of the stem, allowing an oversize center bore, to increase stiffness and strength.

The unique bolt head is designed with a part hemispherical seating blended into the shank. The bolt is plated and de-embrittled to resist corrosion and a stainless steel spring dowel pin prevents rotation when tightening.
