Unsure how it works? That's ok, here we'll go step by step on what to do once you receive your
MPVI/RTD device.
Setting up the TDN App
-Once you receive your new device, you will need to
-Make an account on HPTuners.com
-Download the TDN app for iOS or Android
Use the code to join our account with the code ZZYS-2514.
After you have setup your account and joined our account. You'll need to go though and update
the firmware and connect to the device. Here is the link to our TDN walk through. HERE
Reading and Writing Tunes
-Click the Flash button in the navigation bar.
-At the bottom click Read Vehicle.
-It will prompt you to connect to your mpvi2/3 or RTD device. Follow the on screen prompts.
-The process may take several steps in updating files/firmware then will start to read the vehicle
ECU.
-Once complete it will save the file under your account and send the file to us automatically.
-Click the Flash button in the navigation bar.
-Click the vehicle you wish to apply the update tune file.
-Click the tune file you wish to apply to the vehicle.
-Click write vehicle to confirm the file you are flashing.
-After your file has been uploaded. We will get started on creating the file(s) and will upload them
back to you. Once the files are uploaded you will be notified via email.
Switching Tunes
Step 1: Activate the Switching Menu.
To do so simply press the Coast button Tach displays Active Slot (x1000) for 3
seconds. Switching slots is now available for 10 seconds. Note that not all years have the same
amount. 2003-2004 only have 2 available slots, where 2005-2007 have 4 available.
Step 2: Now that we’re activated.
Press the Resume button to increased by 1.
Press the Set/Accel button to decreased by 1.
When doing so the tach will displays Active Slot (x1000) for 3 seconds Active Slot will be limited
to the Max Allowed Slots calibration setting.
Step 3: Deactivate the Switching Menu
The switching menu will automatically deactivate after 10 seconds.
Press the Coast button (display inactive)
Deactivates switching menu will restore the tach display.
