A bit of wiring is required to feed power to the LED light kit. Minor drilling is required depending on the application. The Raxiom 3" square LED lights provide spot-like visbility, meaning their beam points mostly straight ahead as opposed to a spread beam that illuminates to the sides as well. A spot beam penetrates further ahead, and in the case of a Raxiom 3" cube LED, you can expect to clearly see obstacles up to 25 feet ahead.
