With more than 25 years of off-road use and racing experience, Camburg set out to design a hydraulic bump stop that raised the bar for performance and durability. After years of development and extreme testing on our championship-winning race trucks and off-road fleet, we’re proud to introduce the 2026 Camburg KINETIK Series 2.5 bump stops. The KINETIK Series 2.5 x 2.0 slapper bump stops are specifically designed and tuned for Camburg stock-length and long-travel lower control arms using our billet slapper arm design, while remaining adaptable for custom applications. Hydraulic bump stops dramatically improve bottoming control in hard g-out situations, allowing primary shocks to manage handling while transferring bottoming loads into a stronger chassis-mounted component. Nitrogen pressure is adjustable from 50–250 psi, enabling precise tuning based on vehicle setup and driving style. The 2.5-inch diameter body increases oil and nitrogen volume for improved damping consistency, reduced operating temperatures, and enhanced tunability. Heat-treated cylinders provide increased strength and reduced internal friction for longer seal and fluid life. Each body is finished in black Cerakote® for superior abrasion, corrosion, and chemical resistance. CNC-machined 6061 aluminum eyelets are anodized Camburg red and feature a pocketed design to reduce weight. FK PTFE-lined spherical bearings with custom-molded rubber seals and 17-4 stainless spacers ensure durability, protection from contaminants, and ease of installation. Internally, aerospace-grade seals, custom travel indicators, Type III hard-anodized tapered-port pistons, and a 1.625-inch induction-hardened, hard-chrome shaft deliver consistent damping, reduced friction, and long-term reliability in the harshest off-road conditions. While we didn’t invent hydraulic bump stops, we engineered the KINETIK Series 2.5 to meet the performance standards expected from Camburg slapper suspension kits and our KINETIK race program.
