With over 25 years of off-road use and racing experience, Camburg set out to engineer a hydraulic bump stop that exceeded the demands of our suspension kits and race trucks. After years of design, development, and extreme testing on our championship-winning race truck and off-road fleet, we’re proud to introduce the 2026 Camburg KINETIK Series 2.5 bump stops. The Camburg KINETIK Series 2.5 x 2.5 stem-top striker bump stops are specifically designed and tuned for our rear bolt-on bump stop kits and the front of Camburg-built KINETIK race trucks, while remaining adaptable for custom front and rear applications. Hydraulic bump stops significantly improve bottoming control in hard g-out situations, allowing primary shocks to manage handling while transferring bottoming loads into a stronger chassis-mounted component. Nitrogen pressure is adjustable from 50–250 psi, allowing tuning based on driving style, vehicle setup, and use. The 2.5-inch diameter body increases oil and nitrogen volume for improved damping consistency, reduced operating temperatures, and enhanced tunability. Heat-treated cylinders provide increased strength and reduced internal friction for longer seal and fluid life. Bodies are finished in black Cerakote® for superior abrasion, corrosion, and chemical resistance. CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminum components are anodized Camburg red and feature a pinch-style locking nut to securely retain the bump stop in the mounting can, with an integrated Schrader cap for added protection and sealing. Internally, aerospace-grade seals, custom-molded travel indicators, Type III hard-anodized tapered-port pistons, and a 1.625-inch induction-hardened, hard-chrome shaft deliver consistent damping, reduced friction, and long-term durability in extreme off-road conditions. While we didn’t invent hydraulic bump stops, we refined them to meet the performance standards expected from Camburg suspension systems and our KINETIK race program.
