The BORLA team developed an awesome sounding Cat-Back exhaust system for the MK7.5 Golf R. Volkswagen gave the Golf R a facelift for the 2018 model year. In addition to the exterior and interior updates, Volkswagen replaced the 6-Speed DSG transmission with a 7-Speed DSG. The 3" diameter system flows into dual 2.25" tail pipes on each muffler assembly. Includes a 3.0" O.D. x 2.5" O.D. x 6.63" long adapter for clamp on installation to the stock exhaust system. Do not use the adapter for a full 3" inlet. The S-Type system provides a sporty sound and accentuates the deceleration burble and DSG "pops" when shifting gears. BORLA also ensures a comfortable driving experience with a No-Drone guarantee. This system contains functioning exhaust valves. This system does NOT include a resonator. Add optional resonator 60707 for additional sound control. System 140831SB includes a resonator.
