How to datalog with Diablosport devices
To datalog with a DiabloSport tuner (such as the inTune or Trinity), plug the device into your car's OBD-II port, navigate to Scan Tool > Data Logging, and hit Record. Drive your vehicle as requested by your tuner, stop the log, and use a PC to export and email the recorded data files.
Here is the step-by-step process for recording and retrieving your datalog:
1. Record the Log
  1. Connect: Plug the DiabloSport tuner into your vehicle's OBD-II port (typically located under the driver's side dashboard) and turn the ignition to the "Run" position.
  2. Access Datalogging: Wait for the device to boot up. From the main menu, select Scan Tool, then Data Logging.
  3. Select Parameters (PIDs): If prompted, select the specific engine parameters you want to record (e.g., spark advance, fuel trims, knock retard).
  4. Record: Hit the Record (or play) button. Drive the car under the conditions your custom tuner asked for (e.g., steady highway driving or wide-open throttle).
  5. Stop: Once finished, tap the Stop button to save the file on the device.
2. Export and View Your Data
  1. Connect to PC: Unplug the tuner and take it to your computer. Plug the device in using the provided USB cable.
  2. Locate the File: The device will appear as a removable USB drive (e.g., named "INTUNE"). Double-click the drive, and open the Logs folder.
  3. Save and Share: Copy the .drf or .log file and paste it to your desktop. You can now attach this file to an email to send to your tuner, or view it using DiabloSport’s proprietary DataViewer software.
